Supreme Court Nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, On Religion, Life, and Conscience

TAYLORS, South Carolina — Dr. Jeremy Roberts, pastor of Brushy Creek Baptist Church, issues the following response to the presidential nomination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States:

Yesterday, I preached from Amos 5, and addressed the twelfth verse, which deals with the need for integrity from judges. I implored our congregation to pray for God to give America a pro-life nominee for the Supreme Court. God has wonderfully answered this request. Let’s continue to pray for the overturning of Roe v. Wade for the protection of children and glory of God.

Tonight marks a major decision for which Christians have been praying for a long time. A pro-life judge, Brett Kavanaugh, has been nominated to replaced a moderate-to-liberalish Supreme Court justice in Anthony Kennedy.
