About Dr. Jeremy P. Roberts

Hi, I’m Jeremy.  I’m a Christ-follower, a husband, and a pastor.

The greatest day of my life was when I became a follower of Jesus Christ in October, 1989, and I’ll never be the same again.

The second greatest day of my life was when I married Charity in June, 2006.

My heart is solely focused on making more and better followers of Jesus Christ.  I have a passion to communicate God’s grace, mercy, love, and greatness to as many people as possible in creative and unique ways to reach a dying American culture with the Living Word of God.

My church’s purpose statement is one that reflects the early church of Acts: “Reaching East Tennessee, America, and the World for Jesus Christ.”

My wife and I have a personal purpose statement we gleaned from Matthew 28:18-20, “Making More and Better Followers of Jesus Christ.”

I’m a “type A” personality who is very goal-oriented.  I enjoy dreaming of a plan, then coming up with action points to execute the plan, and finally seeing the goal achieved.

I love to study personal finance and debt reduction through Dave Ramsey and others of his ilk.  Our culture’s morality has deteriorated as the family has deteriorated.  The number one reason for Americans getting divorced is financial distress, so I think it is vital as a minister of the Gospel to equip people to care for the money God has entrusted to them.

On weekends, I play basketball, golf, and watch my wife shop.  :~)

I love to travel around the globe, and I have a goal of preaching on every occupied continent in the world before the age of 30.  Thus far, I’ve preached in Europe (England & Scotland), Asia (Israel), Africa (Malawi), and North America (VA, GA, NC, FL, TX, TN, AR, MD, SC, CO, and AL).

Overall, I’m a guy who wants to make a BIG difference in this world for my Lord Jesus so I can see him in Heaven one day and have Him say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
