From Seeking Input to Seeking Buy-In

This Sunday, Highland Park is meeting at a special time, 10:30 a.m., for our big day.  This Sunday, I am casting a fresh vision for the future of Highland Park.  Words can’t express how excited I am!

I just looked through my calendar and realized how many different people with whom I have met over my first five and one half months as Highland Park’s pastor.  We had listening sessions.  Others of us have had lunches.  Some more of us have hung out in my study, or in your home, or my home, and we pondered and prayed about where our church should go as we move forward.  I have sought a lot of input from you.

Now is the time when I am transitioning from simply seeking input to asking you for “buy-in.”  Will you embrace this vision cast Sunday?  Will you buy into it?  Will you do your part to give any worry up to God?

 

Trust that God has worked through our long range planning committee, staff, deacons, and myself to lead to a unanimous decision of the vision being cast this Sunday morning.  This will be such an exciting day in the life of Highland Park!
